Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching/facilitating workshops in one of the subject areas.

• Attend planning, supervisor, and evaluation sessions.

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Highly energetic, dynamic, and positive.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating sessions in dance, music, leadership, sports, ESL, visual arts, and computer etc.
• Work with groups of 15-20 students.
• Create an environment of active and genuine learning using diverse teaching strategies.
• Incorporate career awareness activities including field trips and guest speakers; community outreach.
• Write, revise and implement lesson plans using DYCD framework for approval by director.
• Monitor and report on students’ progress throughout the term of the activity.
