Job summary

Project Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Management Representative for a Yosemite National Park project. You will support CO, review plans, and oversee contractor performance at the El Portal area.

Ideal candidate has construction/engineering background, strong scheduling and safety knowledge, and ability to manage meetings and communications with diverse stakeholders on a complex, high-profile site.

Qualifications

• Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineering.
• Experience in oversight of utility-based construction projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.
• Arrange, attend and facilitate meetings, including weekly project-site meetings.
• Document issues with the construction contractor and track resolutions.
• Review contractor schedules and progress against baselines.
• Draft project correspondence for review by the National Park Service.
• Inspect contractor work for progress, quality and conformance with contracts and codes.
• Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, and design work to CO.
• Review RFIs and assist in responses and tracking.
