Job summary

EXOS is seeking a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor in New York to lead engaging classes and inspire members of all fitness levels. You will craft routines, provide modifications, and foster a welcoming, high-energy environment at our wellness facilities.

Require at least 1 year of group class leadership, current accredited GX certification, and CPR/AED. First Aid preferred, licensed formats required, strong communication, and a passion for healthy living.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience actively leading group exercise classes.
  • Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA).
  • Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory; First Aid certification preferred.
  • Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats must be trained and licensed for those formats.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a group setting.
  • Passion for fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
