Job summary

Missouri Valley Family YMCA is seeking an After School Youth Leader in Bismarck, ND to care for K-5 students in our licensed after-school program. You will supervise activities, assist with snack, and ensure safety while supporting families and communicating with parents.

The role offers part-time hours from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with CPR/First Aid and child abuse prevention training provided within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in childcare or educational setting is a plus.
• CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training will be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA.
• Position open to ages 16+.

Responsibilities

• Help pick up children from school and accompany them during the bus ride to the YMCA.
• Assist children with snack and cleanup.
• Facilitate and engage in fun and educational activities with children.
• Observe children and maintain open communication with parents.
• Ensure child safety by following safety and security procedures.

Be a positive role model for school-age children in our licensed childcare program and CHANGE LIVES, INCLUDING YOURS.As an After School Youth Leader, you will provide care for children in grades K-5 in our after school childcare program located at the Main YMCA at 1608 N.
