Qorvo, Inc. is offering a Process Engineering Internship in Hillsboro, OR. You will learn development activities on semiconductor process equipment, collect data via metrology tools, and analyze data using JMP/Spotfire/Excel while contributing to experimental design and manufacturing trials.

The program includes mentoring, learning opportunities, and final presentations to business leaders, with projects spanning evaporation, CVD, PVD, lithography, and related processes.

Qualifications

Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in EE/ChemE/MSE or related field, minimum 3.0 GPA.
Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, optics, dry/wet etch, CMP).
Willingness for hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
Data collection via various metrology tools.
Data analysis using JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
Process troubleshooting and recipe optimization.
Experimental design and execution of a fab engineering trial.
Projects in Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, CMP.
