Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. invites applications for a GAS RnD Process Engineering Internship in Hillsboro, OR. This program targets current students pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in related fields with strong experimental and analytical skills.

Interns will work on process equipment development, data collection, and analysis, plus real projects across evaporation, CVD, PVD, and lithography. This is an on-site, internship position offering mentorship and exposure to senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Semiconductor coursework and/or experience with standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP).
  • Willingness for hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
  • Data collection via various metrology tools.
  • Data analysis using JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
  • Process troubleshooting and recipe optimization.
  • Experimental design and execution of a fab engineering trial.
  • Projects in Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, CMP.
