Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic engineer to join our team in Sherman, TX, focusing on SMFAB processes. The role emphasizes driving continual improvement, developing inline quality signals for tool and process health, and leading efficiency and quality improvement initiatives within a high-volume 300mm wafer fab running Analog Technologies.

The engineer will participate in data analysis, problem resolution, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, defect-free manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations with Excursion Control as top priority to ensure SMFAB is safe from defectivity that can cause an excursion
• Develop and implement quality inspection recipes that result in a reliable inline signal of tool and process health
• Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies
• Identify systemic/acute problems in either process or equipment related sources and leading/communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner
• Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
