Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Yield Control Technology Engineer II or Senior YCTE to provide technical product support for CD-SEM tools, conduct demonstrations and customer training, and develop instructional materials.

Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally, with a hybrid onsite/remote work arrangement. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on semiconductor experience, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM or equivalent with semiconductor industry experience
• Must have and retain valid driver’s license
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi CD-SEM strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Technical product support for CD-SEM tools sales activities
• Provide applications support for customers through recipe automation audits
• Provide technical advice to Marketing for sales and trade shows
• Develop training and demonstration materials
• Review training materials for technical accuracy
• Schedule training at customer sites
• Document training and audits in detail
• Transfer knowledge to junior engineers through OJT or classrooms
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Resolve complex problems and propose corrective actions
• Compile and evaluate test data for system specs
• Travel to customer sites as required
• Maintain traveling inventory and company property
• Create and provide detailed internal/external training materials
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements
