Full Job Description: Yelp is looking for a Senior Product Manager to build a sophisticated advertising strategy and algorithm. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will work in the product area to increase the advertising value of our market for businesses and local employees by developing and implementing whiteboard algorithms and advertising strategies information and marketing. If you want to have a key role in the development of a billion dollar company's advertising system and like to work in a cross-functional product management, applied scientist, machine learning engineer, 'backend engineer , etc., then. this is the job for you. • Problem Solving: likes to break down complex, unstructured problems into bite-sized pieces, and build short- and long-term plans from there; you can do your own research using iPython and SQL.
• Effective communicator: able to communicate and translate between technical and non-technical audiences; effectively communicates complex issues to stakeholders from different parts of the organization.
• Operational knowledge: hard at work improving processes around media system reliability and metrics analysis, always thinking about how to make processes more successful.
