Job summary

Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) seeks a Yehi Ohr Program Coordinator to advance culturally sensitive counseling and education for the Orthodox Jewish community in South Florida. You will coordinate services, provide in-school and family sessions, and build partnerships with schools, synagogues, and community leaders.

This role blends direct and indirect service (15-25 hours weekly) with program development, monitoring, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or similar discipline.
• LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC eligible in the State of Florida.
• Minimum 2 years providing individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities and trauma-informed care.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with EHR software.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with colleagues and administrators.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse clients served by the agency.
• Must have reliable transportation and a Florida Driver’s License; ability to travel within Miami-Dade County.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safety Program to Orthodox Jewish schools within the community (Miami-Dade and Broward).
• Provide client-facing sessions (in-person or virtual) as directed by the Coordinator.
• Provide client sessions at a frequency and schedule determined by the Coordinator’s professional judgment.
• Provide culturally sensitive services to the Orthodox community.
• Coordinate and organize ongoing educational/training programs within the community, including JCS Safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical records while adhering to compliance standards and agency policy.
• Review chart audits and implement corrections as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, synagogues, rabbis, teachers and other affiliated agencies.
• Create marketing materials to promote services and participate in agency events.
