Job summary

ArtsQuest is seeking a part-time, year-round educator to lead art programs for visitors, primarily youth, and assist with tours and events. You will collaborate on lesson plans, help with supplies, and support camps and festivals.

Strong English, solid organization, and reliable transportation are required. Ideal candidates hold a degree in art education or related field, have experience with children, and are comfortable reading or presenting to diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Degrees in art education or related field required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of various visual art mediums desired.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Teach art-making programs to visitors, including youth and field trips.
• Develop projects and lesson plans with the Manager of Visual Arts.
• Assist with supply prep, inventory, ordering, and classroom logistics.
• Lead exhibition tours for visitors of all ages.
• Support ArtsQuest Summer Art Camp operations and events.
• Provide event support for ArtsQuest activities and festivals.
