Job summary

Hirecracker Education are working with an inclusive and supportive mainstream primary school in Chester who are looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a long-term role with an immediate start, paying £150–£170 per day (DOE) and paid weekly.

You will plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons, using KS1 curriculum knowledge, and work with teaching assistants to provide tailored support.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Strong KS1 curriculum knowledge and ability to bring lessons alive with engaging activities.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Use creative approaches to bring the curriculum to life.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and support development.
• Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide tailored support.
• Assess and provide feedback on pupil progress.
