The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a culinary arts certificate, plus extensive kitchen experience including line cook leadership. This seasonal position emphasizes hospitality, safety, and teamwork within a luxury hotel‑style setting.

Qualifications

Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for a Baker Assistant for the Winter season.

Purpose: To assist the head baker with all baking production.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to work overnight shift
Manage delivery logistics of bakery products to all restaurant outlets

Work with the head baker to with the core processes listed below:

Viennoiserie (croissants, danish, puff pastry)
Sourdough (naturally leavened breads, high hydration doughs)
Baguettes ( mix, shape and bake)
Donuts (Multiple varieties, including cake and some GF)
Quick breads (muffins, coffee cakes)

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.

Experience/Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field; 6+ years as a line cook; 3+ years of staff management experience or equivalent; Comprehensive knowledge of world class hospitality and service management.

Experience/Education Preferred:

Experience as a Baker in both independent operations and luxury hotels is preferred.
