LKQ Corp. is seeking a Parts Handler in Newark, OH. The role supports yard and warehouse operations, retrieving and packaging auto parts, and handling related paperwork. The position requires practical math, basic software use, and reliable communication with sales and dispatch.
Shift is Monday–Friday, 1st shift with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. No supervisory duties are indicated; safety and efficiency are emphasized.

The Parts Handler is responsible for performing day-to-day activities of the Production Yard or Warehouse in accordance with current federal, state/provincial, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing this facility. This position may be directed by the Production/Yard Leader to assure that the parts are handled in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.
Not responsible for supervising employees.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED.
A working knowledge of automotive parts.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs. Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May explain and offer guidance on routine procedures. Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures. Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area. Results are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities; works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction. Prioritize assigned and routine tasks. Handle appropriately.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. On occasions, an employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
