Fireplace Stone & Patio in Omaha, NE is seeking a reliable Yard Associate to join our team. This full-time position fills customer and contractor orders from the yard, maintains inventory, and operates forklifts to load material.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers picking up material in the yard and serve them promptly.
• Load customer and contractor vehicles, and stage material for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Verify that material loaded matches the order in quantity, condition, and accuracy.
• Receive inbound material, verify it against shipping documents, and report shortages or damage.
• Separate sold material from stock, tag incoming products, and direct them to their assigned locations.
• Restock and organize yard inventory for accessibility and efficient use of space.
• Support inventory counts, audits, returns, and material reconciliation.
• Keep yard areas, aisles, and storage racks clean, orderly, and safe.
• Maintain and properly store yard tools.
• Complete company forklift certification and operate only the equipment you are certified on.
• Report damaged material, improper loading practices, and equipment defects promptly.
• Complete receiving, material handling, and inventory documentation.
• Keep the Yard Supervisor informed of anything affecting safety, inventory, scheduling, or customer satisfaction.
• Attend all scheduled or requested meetings and required training.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 hrly, depending on experience

Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week, including a Saturday rotation

About the Role

The Yard Associate is responsible for serving customers by filling orders accurately and maintaining yard inventory through receiving, staging, loading, and organizing material. This position requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and the ability to work outdoors year-round.

Key Responsibilities
