Job summary

Mutual Materials in Washington state is seeking a forklift operator to safely load and unload products and support the distribution center. This is a full-time, outdoor role requiring you to be on your feet and able to lift 70+ pounds as needed.

You will maintain the yard, manage inventory, prepare shipments, and complete shipping/receiving documentation while delivering friendly, reliable customer service to drivers and colleagues in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift certification/experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand-load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation.This position requires outdoor work and is subject to all weather conditions.Lift up to and more than 90lbsOn the job training will be provided to all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees.This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday.
