Job summary

Glen-Gery Corporation in Manassas, VA is seeking a laborer to perform a variety of physical tasks in support of brick production and distribution. Responsibilities include building orders, loading and unloading, staging materials, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of manual labor experience, the ability to lift heavy objects, operate a forklift, follow directions, and understand how to load and secure materials for trucks.

Responsibilities

• Build orders based on customer requests, ensuring materials and quantities are correct.

• Staging materials and supplies to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Unload semi and preparing outgoing orders; put away inventory.
• Set-up and clean-up of the work area each day.
• Follow OSHA rules and regulations.
• Other duties, as assigned.

The primary function of a laborer is to work on a variety of tasks involving physical labor that may include working with materials, building orders, loading and unloading trucks, working with inventory, and keeping work areas clean and safe.

Duties and Responsibilities:
