Modern Machinery seeks a dependable yard associate in Kent, WA to clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for sale or rental. You will manage loading/unloading, document arrivals and departures, take photos, and help keep the yard organized.

This role requires physical work, safety awareness, and the ability to lift 50–75 pounds. Responsibilities include supporting the Sales Coordinator, coordinating with Service and Parts for Kent branch, and delivering outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Clean machines to ensure sale/rental readiness.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to safety goals.
• Maintain yard organization of equipment and attachments.
• Shipping/receiving of equipment and attachments; prepare documentation.
• Load/unload trucks and photograph inbound/outbound activity.
• Provide backup coverage for Sales Coordinator.
• Coordinate maintenance between departments for the Kent branch.
• Establish strong customer service with internal and external customers.
