Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. New Carlisle, OH is seeking a Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials while upholding safety standards. You’ll load/unload, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help meet delivery deadlines with a team-oriented approach.

The role emphasizes safety, PPE usage, and clear communication. High school diploma required; forklift certification preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds daily.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish may be required based on location-specific business needs.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
