Job summary

84 Lumber Company in North Carolina is hiring for a Yard Person to build loads for deliveries and keep the lumber yard safe, clean, and organized. You will operate a forklift and assist with unloading building materials.

This full-time role offers a competitive starting wage of $18 per hour, along with benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with employer match, and employee discounts on materials. Opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence.

This role is responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition, the Yard Person Benefits must maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and/or building supplies, and operate a forklift. Other duties as assigned.
