Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a Yard Person to build delivery loads and maintain a safe, organized lumber yard on site. You will load and unload lumber and supplies, operate a forklift, and communicate any delivery issues to management.

This is a hands-on role that supports efficient daily operations at our Louisville facility. Applicants should be able to comprehend simple instructions and follow one- or two-step tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition, the Yard Person Benefits must maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and/or building supplies, and operate a forklift. Other duties as assigned.
