Herrman Lumber is seeking a reliable Yard Employee to support daily yard and warehouse operations. You will receive and stock materials, operate forklifts, and assist with loading delivery trucks while helping customers and drivers. The role requires organization, safety-consciousness, and comfort with outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock incoming materials.
• Load delivery trucks and assist with pickups/drop-offs.
• Assist customers with materials and inquiries in the yard.
• Safely operate forklifts and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist drivers as needed.
