Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a hardworking Yard Associate to join our team. You will build loads for deliveries, maintain a safe and organized lumber yard, and assist with loading and unloading building materials.

A forklift may be required to move pallets and supplies in a fast-paced retail/ contractor environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries and maintain a safe, clean, organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
• Operate a forklift; perform other duties as assigned.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and present information to others one-on-one; lift up to 80 pounds.
