Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Rep I in Chico for an entry-level role. You will operate a forklift to stock lumber and building materials, assist inventory control, and support a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, counting, and stocking materials, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to all safety policies. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to perform order quantities and counting.
• Ability to read orders and fill components accurately.
• Clear verbal and written communication with customers and coworkers.
• Familiarity with or ability to learn inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized bays and staging areas.
• Receive and stock incoming materials.
• Assist inventory control with counts and records.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers.
• Support loading/unloading and preparation of orders.
