Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC in Meridian, MS is seeking yard and warehouse associates to provide excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading trucks, and assisting drivers on delivery routes.

You will operate forklifts, stock the yard, ensure safety, and maintain a clean, orderly facility. Required qualifications include forklift certification, delivery experience, and strong reading/writing/speaking skills. Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required and able to operate forklift safely.
• Delivery experience preferred and helpful for on-time customer service.
• Experience dealing with the public and customer interactions.
• Basic math skills for transactions and load calculations.
• Satisfactory reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors in a friendly manner upon entry into yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homes and job sites.
• Load materials into vehicles based on transaction records and stock levels.
• Maintain safe and orderly yard/warehouse conditions.
• Support cashier or store staff as needed for customer needs.
• Report shortages and out-of-stocks to management.
