Job summary

Relogistics Services in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Yard Truck Driver to move loaded and unloaded trailers at our Reverse Logistics Center. You will decide trailer movements to maximize efficiency and reduce safety incidents.

The role offers $19.50 hourly pay, Thursday through Sunday shifts, and opportunities for overtime. You will operate yard trucks and forklifts, perform daily checks, inspect loads, and help keep the site clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Prior experience driving a yard truck or semi is a plus, not required.
• Good math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Understanding that overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Ottawa Yard Truck with the ability to maneuver 53’ long trailers into tight spaces without causing damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as checking fluid levels, cleaning air filters, examining equipment for damage or leaks in addition to ensuring loads are secure.
• Inspect loads to ensure they are secure.
• When applicable, must operate a forklift to move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• When applicable, must stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
• When applicable, must examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Must maintain a clean & safe environment working environment that meets Relogistics standards
