Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Yard Truck Driver in Jacksonville, FL to move loaded and unloaded trailers across our Reverse Logistics Centers. The role includes safety-focused operations, equipment checks, and load security, with a typical 2nd shift (4:30pm-3:00am).

You will operate yard trucks and may use a forklift; overtime may be required. The company offers competitive pay, benefits, and career opportunities in a growing pallet management environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience driving a yard truck or semi is a plus, not required.
• Good math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Understanding that overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Ottawa Yard Truck with the ability to maneuver 53’ long trailers into tight spaces without causing damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as checking fluid levels, cleaning air filters, examining equipment for damage or leaks in addition to ensuring loads are secure.
• Inspect loads to ensure they are secure
• When applicable, operate a forklift to move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Maintain a clean & safe environment meeting Relogistics standards
