Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Yard Truck Driver in Hammond, LA to move loaded and unloaded trailers at our Reverse Logistics Centers. You will operate a yard truck, inspect loads, and help maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic math and reading skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience driving a yard truck or semi is a plus, not required.
• Good math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Understanding that overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Yard Truck to move 53’ long trailers into tight spaces without damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks, fluids, air filters, leaks, and ensure loads are secure.
• Inspect loads to ensure they are secure.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets/materials when required.
• Stack pallets following inventory control instructions.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per Relogistics standards.
