Job description

Pay and Compensation

• $28.38 per hour (overtime after 40 hours)
• $2,000 annual safety bonus
• 4‑day work week

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chock trailers while they are loaded/unloaded and when pulling from doors

Schedule

• Wednesday through Saturday
• 6:00 AM start time

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicant must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Current non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required (or ability to obtain)
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• English language proficiency (required for federal compliance)
• Work required schedule, location, complete application, background investigation, drug screening
• Position regulated by DOT or safety‑sensitive; constant alertness required; responsible for own safety and that of others

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth, focus) required
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch/handle/feel, reach with hands/arms; lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area
