Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard and doors and park/switched trailers.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves in Yard Management System or on switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Handle packages by hand using appropriate methods and load/unload as needed.
• Sort packages by reading labels and numbers and using conveyor or sorting methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
