Responsibilities

• Move parked trailers from yard to doors and back.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow yard safety processes and procedures.
• Load and unload packages from vehicles, trailers, and conveyors.
• Sort packages by scanning, reading labels and charts.
• Lift, carry, push and pull packages for extended periods.
