Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Kansas is seeking an Operations Associate responsible for moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading. Qualifications

• Education level required: less than high school.
• 1 year warehouse or transportation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; Pallet Jack and Forklift Certification from Sysco can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with loaders and supervision to move trucks and trailers according to door assignments.
• Checks that units are sealed and refrigeration unit operates correctly.
• Moves trailers between docks to complete loading, including dropping and hooking trailers.
• Ensures trailer or truck is loaded and secured before moving from the dock area.
• Coordinates with transportation management to use proper equipment on routes.
• Works with fleet shop to ensure repairs are completed before use.
