Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. seeks a Yard Operator to load/unload customer orders and machines, prep tools, and manage yard inventory. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork within a large equipment environment.

Responsibilities include tool handling, data entry, tool inspections, and assisting customers on-site. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of machine service/maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of machine operating and forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tools and machines; coordinate with Sales and Parts departments.
• Enter data and maintain logs for yard tools and attachments.
• Inspect and ensure condition of work tools; perform minor repairs.
• Fuels machines and check fluid levels; operate forklift for shops/customers.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving of work tools and transfers between shops and yard areas.
• Interact with customers and assist walk-in customers as needed.
