REIC Rentals is seeking a Yard Technician to join our team in Wisconsin. You will prep yards, load and unload equipment, clean and repair returned gear, and ensure everything is ready for rent. Clear communication with the Rental Coordinator is part of daily duties.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass forklift, AWP and propane tests, and a commitment to safety. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional Saturdays and working with limited supervision.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests.
• Willingness to work fluctuating schedules including some Saturdays.
• Commitment to safety in a hands-on yard role.

A typical day might include the following:

• Prepping yard for start and close of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Wash and make any necessary repairs to returned equipment and ensure it is rent ready
• Assist in the look, appearance, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

Top candidates will have:

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Be able to meet all conditions of drug and alcohol testing requirements and to commit to a drug-free workplace
• Ability to pass a forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A focus for safety

Additional qualifications:

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules which include some Saturdays
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to take comprehend job related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

Physical demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds several times throughout a shift
• % of workday performing, but not limited to:
  • Standing 50%
  • Walking 45%
  • Sitting 5%

This position is classified as nonexempt.
