Job summary

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician in Colorado. The role involves meticulous washing and detailing rental equipment, inspecting for quality, and managing hookups and deliveries while maintaining a tidy, safe yard.

A typical day includes yard prep, loading/unloading equipment with the Rental Coordinator, repairing returned gear to rent-ready condition, and organizing yard space. Strong safety focus and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Ability to take instruction and follow goals.
• Willingness to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats.
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times.

Responsibilities

• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business.
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator.
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready.
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard.
