Job summary

Herc Rentals, a leading equipment rental company in the United States, is seeking a Yard Technician in Paso Robles, CA. This entry-level role offers a springboard to Driver, Mechanic, ProSales Associate and other opportunities.

You will load/unload deliveries, keep equipment clean and organized, verify tickets, and assist drivers while learning the rental industry. Must have a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory checks.
• Ability to operate and maintain various equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries for internal drivers, outside haulers, and customers.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Clean, maintain, and organize heavy equipment and machinery.
• Review orders and stage equipment for drivers.
• Perform routine safety checks on rental equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area.
• Answer customer questions and provide expert equipment advice.
• Support all team members in daily operations.
