Job summary

ROCKWOOL is hiring a Yard Technician in Kearneysville, WV. You will manage raw materials, operate loaders, and feed conveyors to begin melting wool in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires forklift, clamp truck, front-end loader, and skid steer experience, plus basic computer skills and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Communicate with other operators to coordinate material movement in yard.
  • Fill raw material bins on shift and stock materials as delivered.
  • Operate loaders safely and maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Support production plan by ensuring quality and quantity of materials.

**Yard Technician*** Kearneysville, WV 25430* Schedule: 6PM – 6AM (2-2-3 schedule) & M-F 10:00pm – 6:00am* Pay: $22/hour plus additional $1 per hour shift differentialJoin a company where your work matters. When raw materials arrive at the site, they’re stored under roof and it’s the job of the Yard Technician to not only fill the raw material silos, but also to run the front-end loader and fill the conveyors that bring the charge into the furnace to begin melting the wool.
