Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Yard Team Member to keep the yard and plant areas clean, safe, and organized. This role involves outdoor labor, loading/unloading materials, and supporting daily plant operations.

Ideal candidates are physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable in various weather conditions, and committed to safety procedures and PPE usage. Training is available for motivated individuals to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Support plant operations with manual labor as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing and organizing supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE at all times.
• Take on additional duties to keep the plant running smoothly.
