Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Yard Team Member to keep our yard and plant areas clean, organized, and safe. You will help load/unload materials, support daily plant operations, and perform routine upkeep while following PPE guidelines.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, values teamwork, and is ready to contribute to a fast-paced production environment. We offer steady hours, a strong safety culture, and opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized concrete

Qualifications

• Must enjoy outdoor, physical work and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Team-oriented with good communication and reliability.
• Willingness to follow safety policies and company protocols.

Responsibilities

• Keep yard and plant areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and vehicles.
• Support plant operations with manual labor as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing and organizing supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to supervisor.

At SRM Concrete, we’re looking for a Yard Team Member to help keep our concrete plant clean, safe, and organized. If you like hands-on work, take pride in a job well done, and want to help build your community, this could be the perfect fit for you. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized by sweeping, shoveling, and performing general clean-up tasks.
• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Support plant operations by providing manual labor wherever needed - no two days are the same!
• Help with routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and let your supervisor know when we’re running low.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Take on other duties as assigned to help keep the plant running efficiently.

What Sets You Apart

• You have a strong work ethic and enjoy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• You’re comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
• You’re a team player with good communication skills.
• Experience as a Yard Team Member, Yard Laborer, Yard Worker, or in construction/landscaping is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated individuals!
• You have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or you’re eager to learn.
• You have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• You’re willing to follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• You’re ready to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
