Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Yard Team Member to keep the plant clean, safe, and organized. You’ll perform general cleanup, assist with material loading, and provide hands-on support across plant operations. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• You have a strong work ethic and enjoy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• You’re comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
• You’re a team player with good communication skills.
• Experience in yard roles or construction is a plus, but training is available.
• You have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or you’re eager to learn.
• You have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• You’re willing to follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• You’re ready to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized by sweeping, shoveling, and performing general clean-up tasks.
• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Support plant operations by providing manual labor wherever needed—no two days are the same!
• Help with routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and let your supervisor know when we’re running low.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Take on other duties as assigned to help keep the plant running efficiently.
