Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or have the ability to obtain certification within 3 months
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
• Proficient math skills and adequate English communication skills to understand written and spoken instructions
• Excellent safety awareness and physical fitness
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with others
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard switcher to move trailers in and out of docks and around shipping/receiving areas
• Perform yard checks on trailers (temperature, fuel, seals) and complete paperwork accurately
• Refuel refrigerated trailers as needed
• Assist in operating yard switcher and other equipment following safety rules and regulations
• Operate industrial forklift as needed to load/unload trailers
• Assist in picking, recording orders, and staging items for production and freezer areas
