Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Hostler / Yard Driver in Henderson, NV. The role involves safely positioning trailers, docking operations, and coordinating with the yard team to support efficient deliveries.

The position requires at least 1 year of driving experience, preferably with trailers, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass screenings. Compensation includes benefits and holiday premiums, with a structured shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record, valid ID, and pass TSA screening.
• Must be able to provide a 5- to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers as needed during the daily sort and hook up sets for line hauls.
• Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management.
