Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Yard Switcher to help manage inbound and outbound trailers at the Imperial, PA distribution center. The role relies on operating a yard truck to fuel, stage, and move trailers, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading.

You will start Sunday at 6:00 am and work through the route finish. Compensation is $22.64 per hour with weekly pay, and the company offers benefits from day one, plus retirement and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Ability to operate yard truck and move trailers safely.
• Willingness to work Sundays to Thursdays with early start times.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support loading/unloading at the distribution center.
• Operate a yard truck to fuel and stage empty trailers.
• Support efficient yard operations and safe movement of assets.

Location : 225 Solar Dr. Imperial, PA

Are you trying to break into the transportation industry? Picture yourself as ayard switchwith Gordon Food Service!Youwill be a key part of our operations teamas you set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support the unloading and loading of products at the distribution center. You’llbe using a yard truck to fuel and stage empty trailers.

Schedule : Sunday to Thursday. Start time 6:00 am -until route finish

Pay : $22.64/ hour
