Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Yard Switcher in Imperial, PA. You will set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support loading/unloading at the distribution center.

You will operate a yard truck to fuel and stage empty trailers as part of daily yard operations. Qualifications include being at least 21, passing a drug test and background check, and maintaining a clean driving record per DOT standards.

• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support unloading and loading at the distribution center

• Support overall yard operations and ensure timely trailer movement

Yard Switcher

Location: 225 Solar Dr. Imperial, PA

Are you trying to break into the transportation industry? Picture yourself as a yard switch with Gordon Food Service! You will be a key part of our operations team as you set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support the unloading and loading of products at the distribution center. You’ll be using a yard truck to fuel and stage empty trailers.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday. Start time 6:0 am- until route finish Pay: $22.64/ hour
