Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Freight Hauler at our Imperial, PA distribution center. You will move products from docks, stage them for receipt and storage, and operate a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) to support safe, accurate inventory handling.

No experience is required, training is provided. Candidates must be 18+, able to read/write English, and willing to work a Monday–Friday shift with occasional overtime and holidays in a cold or hot environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Prior experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move products from docks and trailers and stage them for receipt and storage.
• Use a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) to move products and inspect for damage.
• Ensure products are secured and scanned properly for inventory.

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a freight hauler, you will support our team by removing products from docks and trailers and staging them to be received and stored. You will also use a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) to move products, inspect products for damage, and ensure all products are secured and scanned properly for inventory. There’s no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

Does this look like you? You must be 18 years of age or older. Must have or be willing to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers! We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you’re here. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check. Prior experience preferred, but not required.
