48forty Solutions in Atlanta, GA seeks a Yard Switcher to move and spot containers, supporting sorting and processing for shipment or storage. The role is based on-site with a Monday–Friday day shift and a $20.00 per hour pay rate.

As a Yard Switcher, you will be responsible for the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage.

Hourly Pay

$20.00/hr.

• Prior experience operating manual transmission/10 speed preferred.
• Responsible for the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage
• Responsible to maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the plant needs
• Drive and operate vehicle in and around the plant and storage lot/staging area
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attention to detail required to promote safety for you and others
• High motivation and ability to work overtime as necessary

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
