Job summary

Johnsonville is seeking a Logistics/Trailer Operations Associate in Wisconsin to support our supply chain. You will move trailers, perform daily tractor/trailer washing, and manage yard operations at plant docks to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and being at least 21. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are important, with bonus and benefits including a 401(k) plan and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL Driver License is required.
• Must have an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move semi-trailers to/from plant docks and yard areas.
• Complete daily washing of tractors and trailers.

• Assist with yard security checks and trucking functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for the position.

As a member of our supply chain team, you’ll ensure our customers receive noticeably better service and that our products are delivered accurately and on time. With great attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture, you’ll ensure all elements of the distribution process are considered and accounted for. Additionally, you’ll assist our operations team in obtaining the lowest industry cost. Working closely with internal partners, customers and vendors, you’ll provide a seamless and hassle-free logistics process.

Responsibilities

• Movement of all semi-trailers from/to Riverside, Countryside and Meadowside operations grounds (to and from the yard and plant docks for receiving, shipping and trucking)
• Responsible for completion of daily washing of tractors and trailers
• Responsible for general trailer operations (fueling, unloading, temperature checks, etc.)
• Other responsibilities including (e.g. yard security checks, trucking functions, etc.)
• General trailer upkeep

Experience

• Class A CDL Driver License is required
• Must have an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 or older

Skills

• Be able to use the following computer systems: MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Access) and Outlook
• Self-motivated
• Ability to succeed in a team-oriented environment
