Job summary

Lewisburg Container is seeking a Truck Driver for an on-site role in Oklahoma City, OK. You will move trailers to and from dock doors and communicate movements to the Shipping lead to ensure safe, efficient yard operations.

The position requires operating a hydraulic fifth wheel and 53' dry van, loading/unloading trailers, and complying with all policies and laws. Daily tasks include safety, housekeeping, and shift transition communication.

Qualifications

• Operate hydraulic fifth wheel and 53' dry van.
• Safely move trailers in and out of dock doors for loading/unloading.
• Climb in/out of tractor to hook/unhook trailers.
• Keep trailers clean and debris-free before docking.
• Follow all company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Climb in and out of tractor to hook and unhook trailers.
• Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris before docking.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Adhere to all State, local, and Federal laws.
• Ensure load is secured before dropping trailer.
• Communicate all issues related to the yard operations to Manager on duty.
• Note and correct appropriate asset repairs prior to preloading assets.
• Perform a daily shift communication transition prior to the start of the shift.

• Must be able to safely and effectively operate a hydraulic fifth wheel and TADC with 53' dry van.
• Responsible for safe movement of trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Physical ability to repeatedly climb in and out of tractor to hook and unhook trailers.
• Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris before putting to dock.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Adhere to all State, local, and Federal laws.
• Ensure load is secured before dropping trailer.
• Communicate all issues related to the yard operations to Manager on duty.
• Ensure that all appropriate asset repairs are noted and corrected prior to preloading assets.
• Perform a daily shift communication transition prior to the start of the shift.
