Job summary

ECOLAB's Bedford Park, IL facility is hiring a Yard Spotter with additional material handler duties. The role involves shuttling trailers, loading/unloading, and maintaining inventory, with safety at the core.

You will split tasks 50/50, work 1st shift Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, and earn $31 per hour. A CDL Class A, forklift experience, and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous yard spotter experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience.
• No immigration sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Split daily tasks between 50% spotter duties and 50% material handler duties, depending on business needs.
• Safely maneuver yard trucks to shuttle trailers to and from designated areas within the plant.
• Loading and unloading trailers, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory management by performing cycle counts, tracking the location and status of trailers and manufactured materials.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to stage and store materials from production and shipping as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of trailers and yard equipment to ensure operational safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and material storage areas.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
• Picking, staging, unloading/loading common carrier's trailers.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Position Details:

• Plant location:Bedford Park, IL (Clearing) 6216 W 66thPlace

• Work week and shift:1st shift Monday - Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm, some flexibility required
• Compensation: $31.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a yard spotter
• ValidClass ACDL driver's license with a clean driving record
• Forklift experience
• No immigration sponsorship is offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role in an industrialchemicalenvironment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay rate for this role is $31.00 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
