Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Yard Associate to join our team in Charleston. You will assist contractors and DIY customers with selection and loading, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and help maintain yard inventory.

Forklift operation will be involved, and training is provided to obtain certification. We value friendly, service-minded individuals who can work well outdoors, in all weather, and as part of a team.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain forklift certification.
